Life Saver Award Given to Community Members

During the Aumsville Rural Fire Protection District’s monthly board meeting, two individuals received a Life Saver award for their actions on February 17th, 2021.

During the afternoon hours of February 17th, 2021 Timothy Rice, manager of Recology Organics, and David Holcomb found a gentleman having a medical emergency and initiated care. Due to their quick thinking and actions prior to the arrival of emergency medical personnel, they saved a stranger’s life. The event took place at Recology Organics, here in Aumsville, as residents were dropping of debris from the winter storm. For their actions, the fire district awarded them with a Lifesaver Award.
